While the year turned from 2009 to 2010, a couple of friends and I thought about plans for the new year.  We are all poor college students who work our butts off but still have little to show for it at the end of the month.  Despite our meager funds, we have decided to plan a road trip for the summer most likely to Eugene, Oregon because we have a friend who lives there who might lend their home for us to stay at. 

One of my friends and I have never seen the ocean, so that is a definite must while we are on our trip.  It will take a little over a day to drive there and then we plan on staying for about three days.  In order to make the most of our money we plan on packing lots of food and only buying three meals at restaurant prices while we are there.  Most of our money will be sent on entertainment, which we plan on saving on as well, and gas money, as well as lodging if we are not able to
