About Dream In Domestic

Who am I? My name is Sarah and I am a junior in college. I am a dreamer, or in other words, someone who loves all things dealing with the imagination, but I am also a doer. I like to dream about things and see my dreams come to life. I am very creative, which I believe everyone is in some aspect of their life. My creative side comes through crafts, decorating, cooking, and all things domestic-related. I am an English major, which is also an aspect of my life that involves creativity. I love to read and write, and I find that putting my thoughts into words makes them more real. I am also pretty quirky – okay, I’m a dork, and I am happy that way. I like to dance like a crazy person and say bizarre things. I think life is too short to be too serious.

Why am I here? I started this blog because my life felt a little incomplete. You see, as a college student, I find it hard to afford to do the things I love, whether it be not being able to afford the time or the cost. I like trying new things and doing crafty things make me happy. I felt that I did not have anyone to share my love of crafts and home-related things with, so I started a blog to make friends and share what I love most in life. I encourage you to take a look around and get and give inspiration, if you are so willing. I love learning new things and meeting new people, so thank you for visiting!

What’s with the name? I find that everyone has their own dreams, whether they are real or the dreams they have while sleeping. Everyone dreams in their own way. My dreams just happen to be of the domestic sort, therefore I dream in domestic. I am hoping you do too and you can share your dreams with me. :)
